We are very excited to have been chosen once again as one of the 2018 Family Schwinn Ambassadors and cannot wait to embark in this journey with them! It’s going to be a fun ride full of stories along the […]
Without a doubt this was one of the coolest experiences a parent could have. To watch our twin boys make the transition from a tricycle to a big boy bike was so awesome! The boys received their Schwinn Amplify bikes last […]
Spring has finally made its way to our little towns of Richmond/Rosenberg, so what better way to welcome it than to go take a stroll on our Schwinn bikes. This past Christmas I was given a record player which I […]
In January our family was announced as one of Schwinn Bikes 2016 Family Ambassadors.
Finally riding weather! After assembling our new Schwinn bicycles our next task was to choose a place where we could go ride, so we all decided that Seabourne Creek Nature Park located in Rosenberg, Texas would be the place to go.
Seabourne Creek Nature Park
Is a one hundred sixty-four (164) acre Nature Park with walking, jogging, and biking trails, wetlands, prairie restoration area, butterfly garden, restrooms, and a four (4) acre lake stocked with bass, perch and catfish. Also inside the park is the R.W. Lindsey Gazebo, which is 1,025 sq.ft.
So we got our bikes ready, packed up some sandwiches & snacks and headed out! ( Ok wait it wasn’t that easy, this all took like 3 hours ) My oldest couldn’t find his glasses, the twins shoes were also lost we forgot to pack the drinks….you get the idea. But we eventually left the house.
The weather was great, nice and sunny but still a bit cool perfect for riding. The bikes performed very nicely on the trails. The shocks on my Discover bike made the ride so much nicer and I loved being able to carry my camera equipment on the bike rack behind me. The boys and my wife all loved their bikes too! To our surprise the twins Sebastian and Cristian had no issues riding their tricycles off road. I must admit I was a bit concerned at first, thinking their little legs were still not strong enough to handle the trails but they did fantastic! They will most definitely be ready for their Schwinn Smart Bikes when they get them in April…..we cant wait!!
So now to plan our next Schwinn ride…..any suggestions?
